How does it all work? Never been to Whitenoise before? Every year we attract even more newbies. Buy your tickets online (click the BUY TICKETS link from any page) or by post, click here and download the booking form (this is the cheapest option with only a £1.50 booking fee per order). We issue e-tickets following your order. If you order by post the e ticket will be issued once your cheque has cleared. If you order online they are issued the same day.
We only sell weekend tickets in advance. Day tickets are available on the gate on the day.
Decide which days you’re attending – either Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun.
Pick your camping area. You will be allocated a 6x6m pitch in order of arrival. If you want to camp with your friends you need to arrive together. You cannot save spaces.
- Family – for groups bringing children who want early quiet. This area has a 2100 curfew on noise and is a great place for your littlies to meet other littlies.
- General – this is for those wanting a fuller festival experience. Noise curfew is midnight. We don’t allow independent sound systems at ANY time on any of the camping areas.
- Club – this must be pre-booked and is for VW clubs e.g. Bootiful Dubs
- Bell tents – if you want to book a bell tent please talk to Magical Camping direct about your required position on the site.
Take a peak at our very helpful Site Map now. You can also download a copy if required.
You park your vehicle next to your tent.
Limited electric hook-up is available in the General and Family camping zones. We sell the electric hook-up per pitch, 6x6m. You just add this option to your booking. If you have only one vehicle/awning (filling a standard 6x6m pitch) you will need only one electric hook-up etc… If you select electric hook-up you will be allocated a pitch number. This will be confirmed to you by email nearer to the event. If a group of you want to ensure you camp next to each other and all have electric hook-up we suggest one member of the group book all the electric hook-up pitches in one order. This is the only way to guarantee you are all next to each other.
If you have a caravan or larger motorhome and need more space you can add the motorhome supplement to your order, it costs an extra £10 and ensures you have the extra space you need.
Once you have placed your order you will receive your e-tickets by email. Bring your e-ticket to the event with you. You will drive up to the weekend camp gate (MAIN GATE C) in your vehicle and your e-ticket/s will be exchanged for a wristband/s.
If members of your party are arriving later than you and in another vehicle this vehicle will need to be parked in the DAY car park. You will need to walk to meet them and give them their wristband (if they are part of a family ticket allocation) or they can walk to the weekend camp gate and purchase their ticket there/have their e-ticket scanned in and come and find you onsite. Please understand we cannot bend these rules for anyone.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE ADVANCE TICKET BOOKING TO SECURE YOUR CAMPING SPACE. TICKETS ARE SELLING FAST.
When do tickets for 2012 go on sale? The 200 earlybird tickets have been and gone. The cheap advance online tickets are on sale now! Advance ticket sales close at 1700 on 16th July 2012. Tickets can be bought online or by post.
Why isn’t VW Whitenoise at Fritton Lake this year? After two successful years the owners at Fritton Lake have decided that, with weddings booked at the hotel and increasing pressure from the Parish Council over music licensing and access, the show couldn’t continue there.
VW Whitenoise moved swiftly to secure the Royal Norfolk Showground and have already set to work on re-creating the same great vibe at the new location.
With around 200 pitches available with electric hook-up, great toilet and shower facilities, loads of buildings to house all of the live music on offer, the grand ring for all things VW and enough room to dedicate a whole area and barn to the free kids activities it will hopefully be a place to call home for years to come.
It is great to be working with such a professional venue and team.
How can I buy tickets & how much are they? Advance tickets can be bought online or by post.
