We have already secured two massively talented tribute bands for 2012.
Kazabian are the premier tribute band to the award-winning Kasabian. They have played shows with The Noisettes, Pendulum and The Pigeon Detectives. Voted best Tribute at Tribfest Kazabian also tour as part of the Fake Festival Tour. They have a huge set with tracks from the self-titled debut album, ‘Empire’, ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ and recent ‘Velociraptor.’ You asked us for more cover bands and boy are this lot gonna deliver a storming set on Saturday 4th August 2012. With rave reviews from Q Magazine and the Sunday Telegraph this is a top booking for 2012. The Antarctic Monkeys took a big risk forming with only on albums worth of material after The Arctic Monkeys came on the music scene but the risk was worth it as this tribute act have grown into a very popular booking across the UK and Europe. We know you’re all going to look ‘Good on the Dancefloor’ for them this Friday 3rd August 2012 at Norfolk Showground.
And local talent confirmed so far includes: Killamonjambo, Monkey Spanner, The Dulcet Tones, We Can’t Dance, Rivers, The Actor and the Peach , Ghosts of Men, Vegas Fame Index, The Unremarkables, Matt Watson, Lee Vann, Arcane, Chasing Tigers, Rigo Jancsi, Electric Youth Revolt, Scare the Normals, The Hoops, Red Leaf, Bill Downs (appearing on BBC’s The Voice), Arcane, Juke and the all Drunk Orchestra, BuBounce and No Mercy.
Whitenoise wouldn’t be Whitenoise without a bit of Ska. We welcome back our favourite musical incarnation of joy - ‘Ska-lypso.’ It’s music from the West Indies: Ska, Rock-Steady and Reggae with a bit of Mento (original folk music of Jamaica) added to the melting pot. Ska-lypso Tone arrived with a great big sackful of tunes. Injecting happiness, joy and sunshine into his tent and all around. With special guest appearances and live hip-hop a given.

Fresh from playing the clubs of Hollywood, including Avalon and Vanguard, Jamie Charles is joining the VW Whitenoise ‘House’ room from the USA. He combines the hypnotic funky percussive sounds of deep, tech, progressive, nu disco and uplifting house to get the dance floor moving, heads nodding and maximising the appreciation for good quality dance music. Hi In response to your request for live bands to play at white noise this year.
I would like to put our band forward, we are called the LOONEY TUNES we play a list of covers from the 60′s to present day all our songs have a little twist of humour and are punchy and energetic and all are aimed at getting a crowd up and dancing. We have a really energetic front man OIRISH and has plenty to say to involve a crowd and we would suit warming bigger named bands up to get the audience bouncing. We have played most local Yarmouth area venues in the last two years appearing twice at the ocean room gorleston backing absolute Bowie and are comfortable with larger audiences.I hope this is of interest to you if so please contact me.
