Can we have barbecues and open fires?

NO open fires, fire pits/bowls etc.

We have also been advised by our fire safety team that due to the current weather conditions only gas barbecues/stoves are allowed now in 2018. This was advised on Wednesday 26th July after a site visit. This is the right advice to keep everyone and their vehicles safe. Please make sure you follow this advice. LEAVE CHARCOAL BARBEQUES AT HOME!

Is there Blue Badge Camping/Parking and what about personal assistant free tickets?

The terrain at Euston Park is quite hilly but the main arena and the majority of activities are on the flatter part of the site. Entrance for disabled day visitors (Saturday or Sunday) will be sign-posted. This parking is on the lower, flatter part of the site and it’s approx. 300-400m walk to the main arena from here. We have disabled loo and shower facilities. Watch our event video here to see the site.

Blue badge holders attending for the weekend can select any of the camping sites on the day (please display your Blue Badge clearly in your windscreen) and are also welcome to camp along past the black wrought iron gates to the Hall. This area is flat and close to the main arena. This will be marked on our Site Map (this will go online shortly and we will add a link here). Buy a General Camping ticket (your blue badge will mean you can choose where is best for you on arrival or head to a designated area near the main arena.) We have disabled loo and shower facilities and we advise you camp in the official blue badge camping area to be close to a disabled loo.

If you are a carer/personal assistant to a disabled person you are entitled to free entry as a day or camping visitor. You do not require a ticket if booking in advance. Please bring with you one form of supporting documentation to show on the entrance gate. This can be any of the following:

  • PIP (Personal independence payment)
  • DLA – care and/or mobility
  • Letter from a medical professional
  • D/deaf or blind registration
  • The Access Card or equivalent with a +1 Icon for PA tickets
